Louis Cairone, Sr.

Louis Cairone, Sr. 90, of Greenville passed away Friday November 15, 2024 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Carbone) Cairone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Assunta (Mollicone) Cairone. Louis was the owner & operator of Mr. C’s Restaurant in Smithfield for many years.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Carol Catoni and her husband Richard, Debra Buoniauto and the late Louis Cairone, Jr.

He was also survived by our beloved Belinda Britcliffe; loving grandfather of Michael Buonaiuto and his wife Jennifer, Marissa Cairone, Cristina Buonaiuto, Roberto Catoni and the late Kevin Cairone; loving great-grandfather of Sofia Buonaiuto. He was the dear brother of Dolores Rossi and her husband Peter and the late Filomena, Nancy, Maria and Raymond.

He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

His funeral will be held on Friday November 22, 2024 at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting hours are Thursday November 21, 2024 from 4 pm – 7pm.
