LOUIS BARLETTA
Louis Barletta, 59, of Bowen St., Johnston, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Frances (Fratiello) Barletta.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Mary (Messineo) Barletta. Mr. Barletta worked for Pool's & Spas by Richard for many years, retiring due to illness. He also worked for the Providence Journal in the distribution department for 21 years. Louis enjoyed cooking, and was an avid New England Sports Fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Louis G. Barletta of Johnston and Juli Carrier and her husband Derek of Johnston, his cherished granddaughter Morgan Elizabeth Carrier, his sisters; Jean Ponte of East Greenwich and Marie Perrotti of Cranston and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church Memorial Fund 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
