Lorraine L. (Apice) Luzier

Lorraine L. (Apice) Luzier

of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 87.  She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Luzier, for 54 years before his passing.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Loretta (DeMeo) Apice.  Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Frank Apice and her sister Pamela Belk.

Lorraine was a graduate of Classical High School and Bryant College; she worked for the City of Cranston School Department as a Teachers Aide.  She was a devout Catholic who loved gardening, travel and spending time with her family.  She was a Founding member of both Holy Apostles Church and the Western Cranston Garden Club and served on several committees of both.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Luzier and his wife, Liz, and her daughter, Denise Tomaselli; her cherished grandchildren Michelle Luzier, Nicole Tomaselli, Jason and James Tomaselli, Chris Luzier and his wife Laura and Jessica Wilbur and her husband Chris.  She was the great grandmother to Callie Luzier and Liam Wilbur.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME& Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston at 11am. Inurnment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Mausoleum, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS will be TUESDAY morning from 8:30AM to 10:00AM (MASKS ARE REQUIRED).  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Apostles Church Memorial Society 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston, RI 02921.
