LORRAINE (MAYNARD) GENDRON

Lorraine passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was 79 years old and the devoted wife of Maurice J. Gendron for fifty-nine years. Born in Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marcella (Dufour) Maynard and the sister of Ronald Maynard and the late Celia Morin and George Maynard.

Lorraine was a gentle and kind mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved gardening, animals, and traveling. She was a member of the Coventry Chapter of A.A.R.P. Besides Maurice, she leaves behind her loving children; Michael Gendron and his wife Gail, David Gendron and his wife JoAnn, and Kathleen Sullivan and her husband Timothy. Lorraine was loved and cherished by her seven grandchildren; Scott Gendron, Kelly Gendron, Adam Gendron, Zachary Sullivan, Molly Sullivan, and Benjamin Sullivan, and the late Jared Gendron. She will be deeply missed by all.

Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Interment will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
