LORRAINE (GAUTHIER) CENTOFANTE

Lorraine (Gauthier) Centofante, 91, of Scituate Vista Dr., passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was born in Southbridge, MA a daughter of the late Alcide and Malvina (Parenteau) Gauthier and she had resided in Cranston for the past 65 years. She was a member of the Knightsville Club, Cranston Senior Services and past secretary of the Knightsville Library Association all of Cranston. She is survived by her daughter Lorraine DeSantis of Cranston. She was the grandmother of Steven DeSantis and his wife Anna and the late Frank DeSantis and great grandmother of Steven and Tiffany and great great grandmother of Angelo, Gianna and Adrianna. She was the sister of Blanche "Patsy" Coccoli of No. Smithfield, Solange "Sally "Savage of Cumberland and the late Ted Gauthier, Omer and Rene Beaudoin. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10am. VISITING HOURS on Monday 5-8pm. Entombment will take place in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
