Lori Ann (Hilton) Valkoun

54, of Cranston passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family after battling Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease.  She was the adored daughter of Jack Hilton of Smithfield and Nancy (Santos) Hilton of Cranston. Lori graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor of Science. She was a Quality Assurance Project Manager at SunLife Financial.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Caitlin Valkoun, two brothers, Keith and Michael Hilton, a sister, Brenda Hilton and a niece and nephew.

Lori loved physical activity such as using her treadmill, valued healthy nutrition, was an academic overachiever, avid reader, put her whole self into achieving a successful career, an empathetic listener, gave meaningful advice, took pride in her appearance, and was a supportive and reliable person. Most importantly, she was proud to be a mother and loved her family unconditionally.

Lori was a beautiful soul loved by so many who will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Lori’s funeral service will take place in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Sunday, December 12th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
