LOIS C. (CROWE) HAWKES

Lois C. (Crowe) Hawkes 79, of Appleton Street, Cranston, died Monday, August 25, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Doris (Whillans) Crowe. Mrs. Hawkes was a Customer Service Representative for AAA, Cranston Office for twenty years until her retirement. She was a member of the Cranston Christian Fellowship Church and the Cranston Senior Center. She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah A. Riley and her husband Gordon of Smithfield and Donna M. Hawkes of Gray, Maine. Mrs. Hawkes was the grandmother of Leanne H. Riley, Stephanie L. Fitzmorris, Jamie F. Riley and Gordon A. Riley, Jr. and the great-grandmother of Adrian.She was the sister of Joan Perry of Cranston. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cranston Christian Fellowship Church, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cranston Christian Fellowship Church, Building Fund, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, RI 02921.
