Linda A. (Beaumier) Marzilli 58, of Johnston and Brewster, MA, died Sunday morning, September 2, 2007 at home embraced by her loving family, after a courageous 4 year battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Linda died as she lived, with grace, strength, and a strong belief in God. She was the childhood sweetheart and cherished wife of Dr. Robert A. Marzilli for 37 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of Dorothea (DiStefano) Beaumier of Providence and the late Armand Beaumier, Sr., she lived in Johnston for the last 30 years. Linda worked for 12 years at WPRI-TV in various capacities, and was "Miss Raindrop" in the 1970's during the weather program with George Allen. She also worked for Princess House Crystal for 5 years and did office work for her husband in his Psychology practice. Linda gave of her time and boundless energy for many years at St. Rocco School and later at LaSalle Academy. Her most satisfying work, however, was done at home, being the best wife, mother, and grammy that anyone could have. Besides her husband and mother, Linda is survived by her beloved daughter, Marissa Daly and her husband Matthew of Lincoln and 2 adoring granddaughters, Mia Lynn (2years) and Madelynn Grace (5mos.), whom she helped care for and loved dearly. Linda is also survived by her brothers, David Beaumier and his wife Lucia and Armand Beaumier and his companion Elizabeth O'Grady, all of Providence. She was the aunt of Christine Chace, Jennifer and Jill Querceto, and Christopher Beaumier. She also leaves 2 great nephews, Alex Chace and James McInnis. She was the daughter-in-law of Barbara and the late Alexander Marzilli and the sister-in-law of Joyce and Norman Querceto. She leaves many loving and supportive friends, including her best friend for 21 years, Louanne Corrigan. "Linda, you are our Hero." Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
