Linda Seavey Jennings

71, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Jennings for forty-nine years.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Gordon B. and Angelina M. (Cappuccio) Seavey, she was raised in North Kingstown.

Linda graduated from North Kingstown High School, received her nursing degree from CCRI; and received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in education from URI.

A Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island for forty years, she retired from South Kingstown High School where she worked as a school nurse teacher.

An avid golfer and tennis player, she was a member of Quidnessett Country Club for over forty years.  She enjoyed gardening and was known for her blue hydrangeas.  During the summer months Linda could be found swimming and riding the waves at Narragansett Beach and liked inviting friends to sit on her deck, chat and enjoy the view. She also looked forward to her annual trips to Block Island.

Linda had many lasting friendships and loved her monthly gatherings with her high school friends.

Besides her husband she leaves her three sons, Michael J. Jennings, Jr., Timothy S. Jennings and Daniel G. Jennings; her sister, Diann S. Moore; her three grandchildren, Waylon, Brogan and Piper; three nieces, Erin Moore, Kathleen McCann and Kaitlin Budzinski; three nephews, John Reid, Dean Jennings and James Jennings.  Linda also leaves great nieces and nephews; and many friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt. 1A), Narragansett.
