LILLIAN M. (CHARRON) MC KENNEY

87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Leo G. and Marion (Roy) Charron. Lillian was employed by various jewelry companies for many years before retiring in 1985. She was a US Coast Guard veteran serving during WW II. Lillian loved solving word find puzzles and crafts.

She is survived by her children, Charles L. McKenney of Torrance, CA, Leonard P. McKenney of Cranston, Gary T. McKenney of Providence, and Gail A. Marsigliano of Cranston, with whom she resided. Lillian was the cherished grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of three. She was the sister of the late Leo G. Charron, Jr. Lillian was the beloved cousin of Helen Martin of Cranston and a lifelong friend of the late Dorothy McKeon of Cranston.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston.
