LILLIAN L. (COLE) CANAVAN

76, of Cranston, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Canavan. Born in Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Iris (Edwards) Cole. Lillian was an accountant for Amica Insurance Company of Lincoln for twenty years before retiring in 1996. She is survived by her children, Kathleen A. Koslow and her husband Frank of Chepatchet, Martha L. Carlson and her husband John of Cranston, James L. Canavan and the late Joseph M., John P., Joan and Michael Canavan. Lillian was the grandmother of thirteen and the great-grandmother of ten. She was the sister of Sharon Castro of Atlanta, GA. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, corner of Elmwood and Park Avenues, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m.
