Liduina Cabral Couto

LIDUINA CABRAL COUTO, 86, of Topeka St., Cranston, RI, passed away June 3, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joao Silva.  Born in Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joao and Albertina (Cabral) Couto.

Mrs. Couto was a radio station maintenance supervisor for 30 years in Portugal before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Maria Vieira, Maria “Linda” Rodrigues and Joao C. Silva all of Cranston, Rosa Soares of North Providence, RI and the late Victor Silva; cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren; loving great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren; and dear sister of Anna Branco and Fatima Nunes, both of Portugal and the late Maria Jose Couto, Celeste Couto, Jose Couto, Judite Couto and Joao Couto.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 10th at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday, June 9th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
