LIBERTY "LIBBY" (FASCIA) PALUMBO

94, formerly of Church Street, Cranston, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Anthony Palumbo. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Consiglia (Martino) Fascia .Libby and her husband were the owner-operators of the former Windsor Polishing Company of Providence and Johnston. Libby was the mother of Anthony C. Palumbo of Johnston and his wife Marie and mother of the late Marie Gauvin. Grandmother of Lisa Bouchard, Joseph Pagano and Anthony C. Palumbo Jr. Great Grandmother of Ryan and Evan Pagano. Sister of the late Theresa Verduchi, Loretta Palumbo, Mary Palmer, Amadeo, Carl and James Fascia. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on Saturday at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday morning 8:00-9:00am. Kindly omit flowers.
