LIBERATO CRETA
Liberato Creta, 79, of Gladstone St., Cranston passed away Thursday April 30, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Vallande) Creta.
Born in Pietro Vairano, Italy he was the son of the late Guiseppe and Concetta (Iadevaia) Creta. Liberato worked for the former Rau Fastner Company of Providence for many years, before retiring. He was a member of the Santa Maria di Prata Society of Cranston. Besides his wife he is survived by his devoted son Guiseppe and his wife Lori-Jo of Cranston his cherished grandchildren Sara and Guiseppe, and was the dear brother to Maria Giorno, Letizia Robbio both of Cranston and the late Guiseppe Creta and Filomena Romano. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
