Lewis A. Perrotti Sr.

89, of Providence, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 21, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Paone) Perrotti for 68 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Donetta (Nardolillo) Perrotti. Mr. Perrotti was the Chief Deputy Registrar for the RI DMV for many years before retiring. Lewis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing, gardening, mushrooming, coaching and playing baseball. Lewis was formerly on the board of directors for the RI State Credit Union and a former chairman of Meeting Street School. He was heavily involved and a former treasurer with St. Anthony Church, Providence.

Besides his wife Anne, he is survived by his loving children, Alfred Perrotti and his wife Antonietta of North Scituate, Robert Perrotti of Johnston, Anne Heitmann and her husband Dr. Ronald Heitmann of Shelby Township, MI, Lori Perrotti Johns and her husband Alan Johns of Concord, NH and Lewis Perrotti Jr., and his wife Tami of North Scituate. Lewis was the cherished grandfather of Kassondra Romani and her husband Patrick, Arianna Kennedy and her husband Patrick, Brandon Heitmann and his wife Amanda, Alfred Perrotti II, Brianna Heitmann and her husband Alexander Dubovenko and Alicia Perrotti. He was the adored great grandfather of Luca Patrick Romani. He was the brother of the late Dolores Sabatini.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield Street, Providence. VISITING HOURS: Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial is respectfully private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, https://svdpri.org/ .
