Leonora “Lee” Paola

Leonora “Lee” (D’Emilio) Paola, 100 of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday October 21, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (DeSimone) D’Emilio. She was the beloved wife of the late Raphael Paola, Jr., they were married for 57 years prior to his passing in 2006. 

She is survived by her children Rosanne King and her husband James of Cranston, Raphael “Ray” Paola, III and his wife Nancie of Cranston, and Mary Lee Paola, of Kingstown. She was the loving grandmother of Rayna Grenon and her husband Michael, Jena Russell and her husband Shaun, Teresa Barrienteand her husband Chris, and Zachary King. She was the beloved great grandmother of Lianna, Alexa, Blake, Logan, Joaquin, and Caleb. An also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Phyllis Pozzo, Alba Storti, Anna DiGiacomo, Joseph and Willam Spaziano, and Ida Audino. 

She had a great love of music, and was a talented piano player, her talents brought an entertaining to a new elegance. Her passion for baking was unmatched. She was also a wonderful loving and supportive grandmother. 

 

Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10:00am at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchid Rd. Cranston. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial is private. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
