LEON "LEO" Y. PASSERONI

Leon Y. Passeroni 83, of Walnut St. Narragansett passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the home of his daughter Claudette on Sunday Dec 30th 2007. He was the beloved husband of the late Leonor (Cadena) Passeroni. He was born in Saint Auban, France a son of the late Charles and Marquerite (Barralis) Passeroni. Leo was the owner and operator of Leo's Service Center in Narragansett. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Pope Pius the XII; he was a communicant and a member of St. Thomas More Church choir where he was actively involved. Leo coached Basketball and Soccer for Narragansett Recreation Programs. He was a fixture of the URI Men's Soccer Team during the Coach Henni era. Leo also served the French Navy. He is survived by his loving children, Claudette Downey of Charlestown, Maurice Passeroni of Narragansett, Suzanna Judson of Richmond, his devoted sister, Francine Carpenter of Charlestown. He was the cherished grandfather of 7 and the father of the late Francis Passeroni. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Thomas More Church Rockland St. Narragansett and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd.
