LENA (VECCHIARELLI) MARTINO
91, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday July 22, 2013 at Cortland Place in Greenville. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Martino. Born in Longmeadow, MA she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Felicia (Marcovecchio) Vecchiarelli. Lena was a secretary for Dudley Hardware for over 20 years, before her retirement.
She was the devoted mother of David Martino, his wife Linda and Barbara Montaquila; loving grandmother of Nicole Marie Martino, Peter Montaquila, Tammy Johnson and Jeffrey Montaquila; loving great-grandmother of four.
She was the dear sister of the late Lucy, Albert, Rocco and Domenic Vecchiarelli and Sue Harris. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston at 10 a.m. Interment will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
