LENA (PARRILLO) IZZO

94, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Izzo. They were married 75 years. Lena was born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Alfred and Phyllis (D'Antuano) Parrillo. She is survived by her loving children, Pasco Izzo and his wife Catherine of Johnston, the late Richard Izzo , Phyllis Corsi-Meloni and her husband Domenic of Johnston and Annmarie Cherella of Johnston. She was also the cherished grandmother of 9, great grandmother of 13, great-great grandmother of 1 and was the sister of Anthony Parrillo of Smithfield, Ernest Parrillo of Johnston and the late Victor Parrillo. Mrs. Izzo loved her home and her family, she will be greatly missed. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday morning 9-10 am.
