93 years old, of East Greenwich, RI passed away September 6, 2012. She was the wife of Samuel Forte for 72 years. Lee was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Carmine and Veronica (Fera) DeToro. She was co-owner of Fort, Inc. for many years. An avid golfer, she belonged to the Metacomet Country Club and Alpine Country Club of Rhode Island and Admiral's Cove Country Club in Jupiter, Florida. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, cooking, entertaining, traveling and porcelain doll making, donating many of her dolls for charitable causes. She was a member of the Plum Beach Garden Club and the RIWGA. Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters and a son and their spouses, Donna and Anthony DiIorio of Scituate; Marilyn and Ken Brockway of Portsmouth, Elaine and Jeff Vendetti of Attleboro, James and Nancy (Sarra) Forte of Cranston. She also leaves twelve grandchildren, Marisa (DiIorio) Peters, Tanya (DiIorio) Murphy, Jon DiIorio, Elizabeth (Colarulli) Follansbee, Dana Colarulli, Katie Brockway, David Vendetti, Matthew Vendetti, Jenny (Vendetti) Fernandez, Christopher Forte, Megan Forte and Justin Forte and ten great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 3-6 pm.
