Leda (Schipis) Palazzo

Leda (Schipis) Palazzo passed on to eternal rest having reached her 98th birthday with her loving family by her side on Monday October 14, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Henry C. Palazzo, they married in Italy in 1946.

Born in Montecatini Terme, Italy she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Guglielma (Bonelli) Schipis. 

They resided in Cranston with family and friends and often returned to Italy.

She was the devoted mother of Gloria DiZoglio, Linda Marcello and Angelo Palazzo; mother-in-law of Frank DiZoglio, Diane Palazzo and the late Stephen Marcello. She was the loving grandmother of Frank P. DiZoglio, Henry E. Palazzo, Julie DiZoglio Procaccianti and her husband James, Lauren Marcello and her husband Gregory Renza and Michelle Palazzo Shevlin and her husband Thomas and loving great-grandmother of Jake, Lily, Zachary and Cooper. She was the dear sister of the late Rina DeVita.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday October 18, 2024 at 10 am in Immaculate Conception Church 237 Garden Hills Drive Cranston. Burial will be private.
