Lawrence "Larry" Calo

94, a resident of the Bridge at Cherry Hill, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Louise (Battista) Calo.  He was the companion of Lee Bisesi of North Providence for fifty-five years.

Larry was a US Army Combat Veteran who served during  the Korean War.

Larry worked for the City of Providence for twenty-five years before retiring.

Besides his companion, he leaves many nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Rocco Calo, Mary Vescera, Peter Calo and Phyllis Zoglio.

His services with Military Honors will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Ehlers-Dalo Society (EDS), 1732 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10128.
