LAWRENCE BROCCOLI

51, of Johnston, passed away suddenly with his family and friends by his side, on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Pamela J. (Sneath) Broccoli. They were married for thirty-one years. Born in Providence, he was a son of Anthony and Angelina (Iarocci) Broccoli of Johnston. Larry was employed by the State of RI in the Dept. of Transportation for fifteen years before retiring in 1993 due to illness. He was also the co-owner of the former Broccoli Garden Deli in Smithfield. Larry was an avid gardener and chef. He was a graduate of Johnston High School, Class of 1977. Larry will be loved and remembered by all who knew him. He was loved and adored by his entire family especially his parents, his siblings, his three nieces and five nephews.

Besides his wife and parents he is survived by his loving children, Heather L. Broccoli, and Nathan L. Broccoli, both of Johnston. Larry was the cherished brother of Geraldine DelSesto and her husband David of Narragansett, Joseph M. Broccoli and his wife Donna of North Smithfield, Anthony Broccoli of Narragansett, and Dr. Russell D. Broccoli and his wife Sharon Santilli-Broccoli of Providence.
