KIMBERLY G. BARBERA

20, of Wakefield, died Monday, July 13, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Wakefield, she was a beloved daughter of David F. and JoAnn C. (Rotter) Barbera of Wakefield. Kim was a graduate of South Kingstown High School, Class of 2007. She attended the University of Rhode Island and the Community College of Rhode Island. Kim was very artistic, a lover of animals and an avid reader. Besides her parents she is survived by her loving sister Katy A. Barbera of Wakefield. Kim was the paternal granddaughter of Louis and Lily (Diana) Barbera of Lakeland, FL and the maternal granddaughter of Arlette (Liaud) Rotter of Charlestown . She was the cherished niece of several aunts and uncles and is survived by numerous cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St, Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett on Sunday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island, PO Box 458, Wakefield, RI 02880.
