Kevin Flynn

Kevin M. Flynn, 65, of North Providence, passed away on August 22, 2024. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James M. and Ann P. (Hogg) Flynn.

Kevin was the devoted father of Kevin M. Flynn Jr., Jonathan J. Flynn, and Kayla R. Tinker, and a loving father-in-law to Emma Flynn and Tyler Tinker. He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Kevin and Sylvie. He was the brother of the late James Flynn, Thomas Flynn and Marianne Hawkins, and uncle to John and Christopher Hawkins.

Kevin’s friendships were a testament to his larger-than-life personality. Known for his extroverted nature and loyalty, he made sure that time spent with him was meaningful and never dull. Kevin was deeply committed to helping others through his time with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), regularly giving speeches and hosting meetings to support those struggling with addiction. With the guidance of his sponsor, Tommy, his compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on many lives.

Visitation will be held on September 4th, 2024, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kevin's memory to support Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
