Kenneth D. Wiberg

of Narragansett, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on January 8, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Donna J. (Vendettoli) Wiberg. 

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Congdon) Wiberg.

A twenty-six year Veteran of the US Army, he served during two tours in Vietnam. He worked at the Providence Veterans Administration Medical Center for over twenty years before retiring.

Ken was an avid golfer, and a faithful Giants, Patriots and Friars fan. He was a former Pop Warner football coach in Cranston.

Besides his wife he leaves his sister, Keryl Labonte; many nieces, nephews and two great nephews.

He was the brother of the late Kristina Wiberg, Karl Wiberg and Karen Letellier.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial with Military Honors will be in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Tuesday morning from 8-10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 .
