KENNETH J. LAMOND, SR
KENNETH J. LAMOND, SR., 73, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Jeannette A. "Jan" (Di Mascolo) Lamond. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Herbert and Rose (Allen) Lamond.
A graduate of Roger Williams University, Mr. Lamond was an accounting manager at Roger Williams General Hospital in Providence for 15 years, and later was self employed. He was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Debra Arrighie and her husband William of Cranston, Kenneth J. Lamond, Jr. and his wife MaryAnn of North Providence, Donna Constant and her husband Henry of West Warwick, Robert Lamond and his wife Judy of Cranston and Michael Lamond and his wife Gloria of Cranston; grandfather of 10 grandchildren who were his pride and joy; and dear brother of Dolores Rolle and her husband Richard of Cranston and Virginia Blair of Warwick.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
