Kenneth M. Fico

78 of Coventry passed away Monday December 11, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Angelina (Russo) Fico. He was the beloved husband of the late Carole A. Fico.

Ken was a graduate of Central High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. Ken was a man of few words and known for his quiet demeanor. He was active in the Coventry Girls Softball League for numerous years, serving as the treasurer. He was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner of SS. John & Paul Church in Coventry. Ken was also an avid football fan; his favorite team was the New England Patriots.

Ken is survived by his beloved daughter Jessica Fico of Coventry, and his devoted sister Ann Fico, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Albert Fico.

His funeral will leave at 10:15 am on Monday, December 18, 2023, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00 am in SS. John and Paul Church, 314 S. Main St., Coventry. Burial with full military honors will be immediately following in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
