Kathleen A. (Higgins) Laorenza

69, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Mary (Murphy) Higgins.

Kathleen was a Graduate of St Patrick’s School, Smith Hill, Providence; and was employed at Savers in East Providence. Prior to Savers she was employed by Fleet National Bank, and the City of Providence. She most cherished her time as a stay-at-home mom to her four children.
Kathleen was a lifelong avid reader, always with a book by her side.
She was a lover of animals, always having a dog or a cat at home with her.

Kathleen is survived by her loving daughter: Elizabeth Laorenza of North Providence, her dear brothers: Richard Higgins of Warwick and Daniel Higgins of North Providence and her grandson: Jeremy Munroe of Glocester.

Kathleen was also the loving mother of the late Michael, Peter and Matthew Laorenza and dear sister of the late James Higgins.

Her funeral and burial were private.
