KATHERINE G.'NANNY' (GRENCI) VENDETTI
85, of North Providence, passed away on Monday July 29, 2013 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre in North Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Vendetti.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Mormile) Grenci. Katherine was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Salvatore Mancini Resource and Activity Center, and she also loved bingo and shopping.
She was the devoted mother of Diana Holcomb and her husband Richard Sr. of Johnston and Kathleen Giammarco and her husband Joseph of North Providence; cherished grandmother of Richard Holcomb Jr., Melodi Caruso and her husband Anthony and Joseph Giammarco Jr. Katherine also adored her granddogs Rosey and Inga. She was the dear sister of Theresa Iafrate of North Providence and the late Domenic, Nicholas and Lucy Grenci.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church,1525 Cranston Street Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
