KATHERINE A. (NIKOLAISEN) SORENSEN

Katherine A. (Nikolaisen) Sorensen 94, of Echo Drive, Warwick, died Monday, March 3, 2008 at home. She was the wife of the late Paul B. Sorensen. Born in Edina, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Nils Peter and Katrine (Sorensen) Nikolaisen. Mrs. Sorensen was a teacher and professor at the University of Minnesota for twenty years before her retirement. She was a member of the Institute for Creation Research. Mrs. Sorensen is survived by her children, Richard B. Sorensen and his wife Lois of Cranston and Sheryl A. Marty and her husband Mark of Minneapolis, MN. She was the grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of two. Mrs. Sorensen was the sister of the late Soren, Hans, Julia and James Nikolaisen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Cranston Christian Fellowship, 1114 Scituate Avenue, Cranston. Her burial will be private.
