90, of North Providence, formerly of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at home, with her loving family at her side. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Evaristo and Maria (DeMeis) Faraone. Katherine was a Quality Control Inspector for Highland Jewelry Mfg. Company for ten years before retiring in 1982. She was a past member of the United Commercial Travelers of Johnston, where she spent countless hours raising funds for disabled children. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph Federici and his wife Rosemary of Glocester, Louis Federici and his wife Ruth of North Providence, and Carol Iadimarco of Johnston. Kay was the grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of twelve, and the great-great-grandmother of six. She was the sister of the late Anna DiLorenzo, Phillip, Frank, Massino, and Louis Faraone. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
