Formerly of Johnston and Cranston, she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown. Katherine was the beloved wife of the late Armando DeAngelis. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Concetta (Gamba) Tribelli. She was employed by the former Colonial Knife Company of Providence for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Josephine D'Amato and her husband Stephen J. D'Amato, MD of North Kingstown. She was the devoted grandmother of Kathleen Schneider and Stephen J. D'Amato, Jr. and the cherished great-grandmother of Armando and Massimo Schneider. She was the sister of the late Mary Conca, Eligio, Amelio, and Anthony Tribelli.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 Third Street, East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Saturday 8-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scalabrini Villa Health-Care Center Memorial Fund, 860 North Quidnessett Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852-1099.
