KAREN A. (YOUNG) MANZI

57, of Providence, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was wife of Raymond Manzi. They were married for thirty eight years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Phyllis (Guissago) Young. Mrs. Manzi was a jewelry worker for the Urschel Tool Company for over twenty years. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons, Michael A. Manzi of North Smithfield and Alan R. Manzi of Providence. She was the grandmother of Rachael and Ryan Manzi. Karen was the sister of Marie Rosati of Mystic, CT, Diane Paglia of Lincoln, Eileen Georgio of Burrilliville, Roger Young and Steven Young both of Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 64 Brayton Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
