Karen D. DeCiccio

Karen D. DeCiccio, 69, of Cranston passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at home. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Palma (Nicolo) DeCiccio.

She was a medical assistant for many years at Florida Medical Hospital. Karen enjoyed spending most of her free time with her family, especially her 2 nieces. She loved organizing family reunions, traveling and baking. She was a very giving person and although she didn’t have any children of her own, she doted on her many dogs throughout the years. Karen was also an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her siblings Donald F. DeCiccio and his wife Linda of Johnston, and Jane A. Payette of Hope Valley. She also leaves 2 nieces Melanie Lanni and Amanda Hansen, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday August 30, 2022, at 10:30 in St. Paul’s Church, 30 Warwick Ave., Cranston. Followed by a burial in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be just prior to her Mass from 8:30- 9:30am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Providence Animal Care and Control Center, 33 Social Street, Providence, RI 02904-1288.
