JUSTINE C. "TINA" (VITALE) SCHIANO

JUSTINE C. "TINA" (VITALE) SCHIANO, 81, passed into eternal life on Saturday, July 4, 2009. Born October 5, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Emanuele and Rose (Fuoco) Vitale and sister to the late Angelo Vitale. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Schiano and loving mother to Cecelia "Cookie" Rodi and her husband Edward of Cranston. She was "grandma" to the pride and joy of her life, Christiana Marie and Edward Vincent.
Tina resided in Johnston most of her life and was instrumental in developing the CYO for St. Rocco Parish where she was a communicant until joining Holy Apostles Church, Cranston, and was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary Bishop Scalabrini Council #3547. She worked at Genzer Manufacturing and was an Executive Secretary for General Fabrics Company until she retired.
"Auntie Tina" was a mother figure to many extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 8th at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
