Julio DeSpirito 82, of Aldrich Ave., Cranston passed away on Friday December 7, 2007 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Cranston. Born in Providence, a son of the late Salvatore and Nellie (Pontarelli) DeSpirito, he moved to Cranston in 1965. Mr. DeSpirito worked as an auto re-upholsterer for the former Jack's Auto Top and Mills Brothers, both in Providence for many years and later worked as a custodian for Citizens Bank, until retiring. He was a WW-II Navy Veteran. Mr. DeSpirito is survived by a sister; Ida DeSpirito of Cranston, four brothers; Anthony DeSpirito and Salvatore DiSpirito both of Cranston, Alfred DiSpirito of Warwick and Jospeh DeSpirito of Coventry and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anna Acciardo. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church Cranston.
