87, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Pagliarini, Sr. Born in Providence; she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Marchetti) Venagro. Julia was a clerk at the former Rainbow Bakery in Cranston for several years. She also made fabulous Wandi's for various restaurants, bakeries, and for special occasions. Her passion in life was helping people, especially children. Julia devoted her life to others needs.
She is survived by her son Stephen Pagliarini of Cranston. Julia was the mother-in-law of Carolyn Pagliarini of Cranston, and the mother of the late Michael A. Pagliarini, Jr. Julia was the cherished grandmother of Mark, Christopher, and Lauren Pagliarini, and Lynne Forlasto. She was the great-grandmother of Nichole Forlasto. Julia was the sister of the late Mary Mercurio, Louis Venagro, Assunta Tucci, Elena Colantuono, and Antonetta Melone. She is also survived by her extended family Gail Conte-Wahl and Kristin Drowne.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11: 00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday morning 8-10 a.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
