Julia C. (D'Ambrosco) Monticelli

88, of Cranston, wife of Albert Martin, passed away on peacefully on October 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Providence, RI she was the daughter of the late Peter and Bridget (Curto) D’Ambrosco.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, David Dias and his wife Paula, Doreen Holmes and her husband Tom, Kenneth Dias and his wife Kimberly, Alan Dias and his wife Kelly, Julie D’Orsi, Michelle Lambert, as well as 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her brothers Silvio, Ernest and Peter D’Ambrosco and her sisters Rose Corso and Rita Olsen.

She enjoyed volunteering at the Cranston Senior Center, riding on her husband’s motorcycle, cruising, and painting.  She especially enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 244 Smith St., Providence.  Burial will take place in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
