Judith A. (Caparco) Firlick

82, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Greenwood Care Rehab Center, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Firlick for 63 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Angela (Zoglio) Caparco as well as the stepdaughter of the late Dora (Lombardo) Caparco. Mrs. Firlick was a registered nurse for many years before retiring. Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and always made it a point to attend all her grandchildren’s events. She also enjoyed meeting her friends out for coffee.

Besides her husband Joseph, she is survived by her loving daughters Robin McGovern and her husband Neil of Cranston and Traci McCracken of West Warwick. Judith was the cherished grandmother of Shawn and his wife Erica, Kerri, Ryan and his fiancé Alexandra, Jordan and his wife Aliah, Alyssa and Shaidon. She was also the adored great-grandmother of Amelia, Benjermen, Jack and Henry. Judith was the sister of Michael Caparco and his wife the late Patricia of Cranston, June Marsklek of Smithfield, Cathy Lombardo of Warwick and the late Perry Caparco. She also leaves behind her former sister in-law Louise Caparco and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial is respectfully private.
