Judith Ann (Messier) Boyle

80, of North Port, FL formerly of Cranston passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Robert E. Boyle.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George and Katherine (St. Ours) Messier.

She leaves two loving sons, Gary M. Boyle of Coventry and Derek Boyle and his wife Tina of West Warwick; her dear sister Carol Messier of Coventry.  She was the sister of the late Joan Chappel.  She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Judy was a graduate of Saint Mary’s Academy of the Visitation in 1962, still maintaining touch with many of her classmates. She worked at Old Stone Bank and worked as a special guide to special needs clients. She was a member of Saint Matthews Choir for a number of years. After her move to North Port, Florida, she was also active in the church choir. Her years in North Port were full of activity, a frequent swimmer at the North Port pool, loved entertaining, and card playing, and was an avid crossword player. Judy was a consummate reader and Jeopardy aficionado.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 24th at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, corner of Park Avenue and Elmwood Avenue, Cranston.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich.
