Joyce E. (Halliday) Tartaglia

JOYCE E. (HALLIDAY) TARTAGLIA, 80, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony F. “Buster” Tartaglia.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Chester A. and Mary G. (Furey) Halliday.

Joyce worked for the State of RI Department of Higher Education for many years before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Paula M. Hardman and her husband Carl and Anthony T. Tartaglia all of Johnston; cherished grandmother of Katie and her husband Mitchell, Christina, Ondrea, Samantha, Alex, Santana, Alisha and the late Paige E. Hardman; loving great-grandmother of Mason and Hawk; and dear sister of Audrey Warrener of Warwick and the late Earl Halliday.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 12th at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
