Joyce Amelia Martin

72, of Lincoln, formerly of Cranston passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. "Billy" Martin, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Federico and Amelia (Greco) Scungio. Joyce was a bookkeeper for the former County Loan Company of Providence, she was also a seamstress, nanny and a caregiver to the elderly. She was a great mother and grandmother. Joyce was an Incorporated Woman of Regnum Christi, a member of the Legion of Mary, Scituate Red Hatters and the Scituate Senior Center. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Dr. Joyce M. Martin of Hope and Michele A. Martin of Lincoln. Joyce was the cherished grandmother of Daniel Martin Gauvin, William John Martin Rinaldi, and Jack Martin Beckett. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner Street, Providence.
