Joyce A. (Russo) Bloomfield

of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at RI Hospital in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of Gerald B. “Jerry” Bloomfield.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Sabbatino “Sam” and Inez (Paolucci) Russo.

Joyce was a clerk at Verizon for 30 years before retiring.  She was treasurer of the Oaklawn Grange; member of the Cranston Portuguese Club; an avid reader and enjoyed scrapbooking.

Besides her husband Jerry, she was the devoted mother of William C. “Billy” Russo and his wife Patricia of Cranston; cherished grandmother of William P. Russo and Nicholas A. Russo; and dear sister of Kathleen S. Dougal and her husband Robert of Warwick.

VISITING HOURS in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday, May 24th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
