Josette G. (Fritschy) Raimondi

93, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Michael Raimondi for 54 years. Born in Paris, France, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Simone (Cordaillat) Fritschy. Mrs. Raimondi was the owner and operator of Josette’s Creamery for 35 years.

Josette is survived by her loving children, Angelo Michael Raimondi Jr of Scituate, Josette Pisilini and her husband David of Cranston. She was predeceased by her loving daughter in-law Rita L. Raimondi. Josette was the cherished grandmother of Kelly Bianco, Jennifer, Julie and Jessica Raimondi; great-grandmother of Angelo Joseph Bianco and Mason James Raimondi.

Because current circumstances did not allow her family to be with Josette, the family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Cherry Hill Manor for their love and excellent care she received.

Mrs. Raimondi’s funeral services are private. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hopehealth Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
