JOSEPHINE A. RIVET

Josephine A. (Tomao) Rivet, 90, of Lookout Avenue, Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Briarcliffe Manor Nursing Home, Johnston. Josephine was the wife of the late Arthur R. Rivet. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (DiMeo) Tomao. Josephine was a jewelry worker at the former Consolidated Jewelry Co., formerly Vargas Manufacturing, for 31 years. She is survived by two daughters: Lydia Rankin of Johnston and Mary Farrar of Coventry, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her sister Frances Petrucci of Johnston. She was also the sister of the late Philomena Testa, Alice LaNinfa, Joseph, Salvatore, Michael, Harry, Albert and Anthony Tomao. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
