99, of Fourth Ave. Cranston, passed away on Saturday October 24, 2009 at Grandview Center in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Imbruglia. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (D'Amico) Palana. Josephine was the mother of Eleanor Martin of Johnston, Frank Imbruglia and his wife Carol of Warwick, Carol Rossi and her husband Robert of Cranston, also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, and she was the sister of Frank Palana of Ohio and Rose O'Brien of Seekonk. She was the mother in-law of the late C. Patrick Martin, and sister of the late Anthony, Louis, Joseph, Lawrence and John Palana. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
