96, of West Warwick passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late William Elliano. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Maria (Marrone) Iaciofano. Mrs. Elliano was a bank teller for 50 years before retiring. Josephine loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed attending social events and playing cards with her friends. Josephine was a member of the Manton Seniors, Cranston Seniors, UCT #67, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2396. She was an avid reader and baker which she was known for her homemade Italian cookies.
Josephine is survived by her loving children, Maryanne Paquin and her husband Roger of West Warwick, Elizabeth Gold of Atlanta, GA, Paula J. Malone and her husband Domenic of Chepachet, and William A. Elliano of Atlanta, GA. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph Paquin and his wife Dawn, and Renee Adamonis; she was also the cherished great-grandmother of Morgan and Collin Paquin. Josephine is predeceased by her three grandchildren, David and Edward Adamonis, and Gregory Paquin, her great-grandson Joseph Paquin, her brother Domenic Iaciofano, and her son in-law Randy Gold.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 17th, at 10 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Holy Apostle’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-7 p.m.
