JOSEPHINE ROSE CICCHETTI

Josephine Rose Cicchetti 76, of Central Avenue Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Assunta (Fascia) Cicchetti. She was a talented hairdresser at Joanne's Beauty Salon in Providence. She was a devoted CCD teacher and rectory worker for St. Rocco's Parish for many years. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, loved politics, and had a passion for all animals. She is survived by her sister Carmella Cicchetti of Johnston, nephews Paul D'Amico of Johnston, Donald D'Amico of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jonathan D'Amico of Johnston, nieces Ashley and Jillian D'Amico of Johnston, AnnMarie D'Amico and Sandra Pinheiro. She was the sister of the late Anna Marie LePore and Jennie D'Amico. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
