Josephine Checrallah

Josephine  Checrallah, 92, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully at Hatchery Group Home, on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Mazed and Mathilda (Harfouche) Checrallah.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Miner, Charles, Mitchell, and Joseph, and her sister Mary Caron.

Josie was a special needs individual who loved singing, shopping, solving Sudoku puzzles, and playing with animals.

Family was Josie’s most important value, and her greatest joy was spending as many hours as she could with them.  She especially loved viewing and proudly displaying her hundreds of family photos.  Josie was that special person who immediately touched your heart and was adored and loved by everyone who met her.  She is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews and will be missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at St. George Maronite Catholic Church in Cranston, RI on Wednesday, July 26that 11:00am, followed by burial at St Ann’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to St. George Maronite Catholic Church.
